Movie Review: Oppenheimer. Or I think I know how AI will destroy the world.

I watched Oppenheimer the other day. The movie came out a long time ago, but I watched it last week. I could not stop thinking about a few things:

1. Why did they list all the ingredients and how to make The Gadget? There is absolutely no need to discuss the properties of “graphite.”
2. For all those who have “ideas” but are stuck with the current state of technology, Oppenheimer had it in his head way before the time; yay for “theoretical physics.” Yet he still went to Eisntein to verify the calculations…

“Albert? When I came to you with those calculations, we thought we might start a chain reaction that would destroy the entire world…”

Hear me out. Do we have Einsteins these days? Anyone who can tell “Oppenheimer” to check the calculation or a possible chain reaction will destroy the world? What if “Oppenheimer” is a Generative AI that ( god forbid they add cyber mechanics to the system which runs tests as it performs calculations? :O:O:O) will mindlessly go through “all possible combinations of all possible permutations” and accidentally set up a chain reaction? Oppi went to chat with the old dude Einstein.

Who will a random human go to? What if it is will not be a human at all?
