How To Manage Anything. Part 1. Find your team superpowers.

Everyone has superpowers. Very often we do not know what our superpowers are and we also do not see other people’s superpowers. As I mentioned before, I am one of the 33 “appointed citizens” of the “Leadership Academy”. We have to select the project and implement it.

The topics are :

  1. Attracting new Foster Homes/Parents
  2. Empowering Homeless Individuals through Skills Training
  3. Reducing Critical Capacity at Animal Shelters
  4. Neighborhood Revitalization/Help a Neighbor
  5. Revamping of the WC Trail System
  6. Capturing and Memorializing Historical Sites

If you ever worked with me, you know that Managing Anything is my superpower ( or deep childhood trauma from being left in an orphanage? Our deepest wounds can be our super powers). At the same time, given my decade work on self-awareness and my yoga teacher training, I asked myself, what would be the best thing for myself and for the team? Yes, I can put everything ( after the project is selected and ideation workshops are done, run by me of course) into JIRA, Smartsheets, or MS Project in no time, make sure requirements match the scope, the resources and budgets are allocated and timelines are set in such way that sprints are…
