How to build #smartplanet. Robot Babies — would you want one? How about taking a foster kid in?
If you are a UNR student and don’t have kids, feel free to participate in a #robotbaby research. I have no idea what it is for, how it works, and such. Just a random poster on a bulletin board. However, this thing topped all other topics on #ai I have collected since last Friday: Tahoe Prosperity Fund ideas (as applied to using AI to solve them); can we solve homelessness in the Reno-Tahoe area; legal implications of using #ai in business (talk by an AI lawyer, kind of concerning, but not surprising); and our Washoe County Leadership Academy cohort selected the project — Strategic Project to place Washoe County Foster Children with Families. The second choice out of six proposed by the Commissioners was Upskilling Homeless People, but that’s such a heavy topic, I wouldn’t even know if we as a group could do anything for a real change in the state of affairs.
