The man From Korsor Nor. NEO 791. 5083 BC. Maybe the eyes… yeah, I can see that…

The man from Korsør Nor

During the dredging of Korsør harbour the skeletal remains of at least seven human beings were found. Amongst these was a well-preserved, but underwater, grave containing the body of an adult male from the time of the Ertebølle Culture. The mud had preserved a bier (stretcher used for carrying the body) of branches and a bark layer, which had been wrapped around the body prior to burial. Most of this bark layer was destroyed when the grave was found. At the waist of the body lay a flint knife. The cranium shows scars caused by a violent blow. The man from Korsør Nor survived the contest, while the fate of his opponent is unknown.

Yay, number 1!

If you are a match ( this is not a competition!), I would like to meet you!

Zealand!

Who knew genetics analysis could be so much fun? I am a bit confused though about the match. This dude is seriously one of my closests ( known) matches. Well, besides King Bela the Third and another Swedish King, but that’s another blog story!

Who is your interesting match?
